ALIYA BOWLES
Hello!With over 20 years of experience as a performer and educator, I bring a deep passion for theatre to every stage and studio I step in. As a professional actress, I’ve had the privilege of performing in the national tour of Spring Awakening, and regional productions of Little Shop of Horrors and Footloose.
In addition to my work on tour, I’ve created and performed in multiple sold-out solo concerts, sharing music that I love and connecting with audiences on a personal level.
Teaching is at the heart of what I do. I love working with students, helping them build confidence, develop strong technique and discover their voice. Whether guiding aspiring performers or nurturing a love of theatre, I’m dedicated to creating a supportive, engaging environment where every student can bloom and flourish.

My teaching philosophy centers on creating a positive environment where students can have fun while learning and growing. I believe when students feel supported they are more open to taking risks, building new skills, and expressing themselves authentically.
I strive to show them that with the right mindset they can achieve anything they set their minds to. I help students not only improve as performers, but also develop a lasting belief in their own potential.
